At least three persons including a security guard were killed in Quetta in an attack on the provincial minister’s house on Tuesday.
According to BBC, the firing incident occurred at midnight in Chaman Housing Scheme where the provincial minister Asfandyar Kakar resides.
When the attackers opened fire on security guard deployed at the house, they also retaliated as a result two attackers died on the spot while one security guard also sustained severe injuries. He was shifted to hospital but he succumbed to injuries and died in hospital.
Asfandyar kakar was in Islamabad when attackers attack at his residence.
While talking to BBC he said that two attackers attack on his house. He was in Islamabad but his younger brother and other family members were also staying in his house but they are safe.
On replying a question, he said that he had no personal enmity with anyone and he does not know why attackers attacked his house.
Meanwhile, Police claimed that the attackers have been identified and hailed from Quetta.
However, thorough investigation is being carried on and after completing all investigation they would be able to tell the real reason of attack.
