LAHORE – A telefilm titled ‘Eik Beti, Eik Kahani’ from the drama series “Faseel-e-Jaan Se Aagay”, will be aired today on PTV Home at 7:40 pm. The film is based on the real life story of a terrorism affected girl, Momi Gull.
The girl was kidnapped and molested by terrorists for two months in Mingora during early 2009. She was later forced to marry a 72 year old Commander. Momi put up with the ordeal till she was recovered by Pakistan Army during Operation Rah-e-Raast. It is fifth of the recent drama series Faseel-e-Jaan Se Aagay”, based on real accounts of people who sacrificed their lives showing exemplary resilience against terrorists. The telefilm is written by Amir Raza and directed by Kashif Nisar; the cast includes Maria Khan, Farhat Abdullah, Zia Khan and Zubair Jadoon.
‘Faseel-e-Jaan Se Aagay’ is homage for the courageous people of Pakistan and its armed forces who have wrestled terrorism in troubled areas of Pakistan. ‘Matti Ka Qarz’, ‘Meraj’, ‘Inkaar’ and ‘Ada-e-Sarfaroshi’, the first four dramas of this series have already been aired.
