Mustafa Zaidi, a progressive Urdu poet was paid tribute by literary circles of the city on his death anniversary. Mustafa was born on October 10, 1930 in Allahabad, India. He started his writing career in Allahabad under the pseudonym Tegh Illahbadi. He migrated to Pakistan in 1951, where he came to be known as Mustafa Zaidi instead of Tegh Allahabadi.
