Petrol, CNG prices likely to drop from Oct 15

Petrol and CNG prices are expected to be slashed from October 15.
Sources say that prices of petrol and CNG are likely to come down by Rs3 a litre and Rs2.65 per kilogram respectively. However, prices of diesel, kerosene oil and high octane may increase under the weekly petroleum price evaluation formula.
A summary, prepared by the Pakistan State Oil (PSO) and oil marketing firms, will be forwarded to Petroleum and Finance ministries on Saturday for approval.
According to the summary, the price of high speed diesel is expected to be increased b Rs2.85/litre, kerosene oil by Rs1.05/litre, light speed diesel by Rs1.50/diesel while high octane’s could rise by Rs2/litre.
