LAHORE – The Pakistan Cricket Board and Boom Boom, Pakistan’s official cricket kit suppliers, have launched an impressive kit for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, inspired by designs submitted by amateurs and cricket fans.
It is the first time ever that the kit of a major cricketing nation has been designed with the involvement and input of cricket fans. Cricket fans and followers at PakPassion and Boom Boom’s designers collaborated in designing the new kit. PakPassion carried out an extensive exercise a few months ago, asking fans to contribute their ideas on what the kit for the World Cup 2011 should look like.
Pakistan start their World Cup campaign on February 23 with a match against Kenya.
