Bearish trend prevailed in Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday as it shed 67.60 points, following the LSE-25 index opened with 3980.25 and closed at 3912.65 points. The market’s overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 4.294 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.651 million shares, showing an upward move of 1.642 million shares. While, out of the total 98 active scrips 19 moved up, 49 remained equal and 30 shed values.
United Bank Limited, Attock Refinery Limited and Habib Bank Limited were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 3.32, Rs 1.50 and Rs 1.26 respectively.
Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, Nishat Mills
Limited and Pakistan State Oil Company Limited lost their per share value by Rs 3.07, Rs 2.84 and Rs 2.57 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Karachi Electric
Supply Company Limited with 1.551 million shares, Nimir Industrial Chemical Limited with 790,000 shares and Fauji Cement Company Limited with 341,000 shares.
