President of traders’ union, Range Road, Rana Jalil Hassan said on Sunday the unstable prices of petroleum products was a perfect example of the poor performance of the current government. Rana Jalil suspected the rulers were toeing the line of IMF by increasing the prices of CNG. The elite of Pakistan have made this country a slave of other nations, he noted. He said the rise in petroleum prices was intensifying problems for the traders. He also regretted the fact that the purchasing power of the masses had diminished due to the price-hike, which was not a good sign for the country’s economy.
