President Asif Ali Zardari expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of renowned novelist Razia Butt, who passed away on Thursday.
In his condolence message the President praised the late writer for her literary contributions which he said enriched our literary heritage. He said that Ms Butt had a unique style of writing that endeared her to many readers. The vacuum created by her demise would take a long time to be filled, he said.
The President prayed to Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and to give courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with magnanimity and fortitude.
