Passengers had to suffer due to the cancellation of a Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight, after seven hours of delay, on Thursday night. The PIA Lahore-Kuwait flight PK-205 was scheduled to fly at 06:00 pm on Thursday, but passengers were informed that due to a technical fault, the flight was rescheduled at 01:00am. The passengers waited for seven hours at the airport lounge, but were told at 01:00am that the technical fault had not been detected, due to which the flight had to be cancelled. Enraged passengers protested against PIA authorities for the seven-hour delay and later because of the flight cancellation. Boarding cards of all passengers were cancelled. The passengers left for Kuwait on an alternate PIA flight PK-239 from Sialkot at midnight on Friday.
