The Supreme Court of Pakistan has summoned Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and Pakistan Peoples Party leader Raja Riaz on October 17 in dual nationality case.
The ruling party’s leader of the Opposition in Punjab Assembly, Raja Riaz, had blamed PML-N central leader Shabaz Sharif for holding dual nationality.
The apex court on Thursday issued notices to the two politicians, ordering them to turn up on Wednesday, October 17, and directed Raja Riaz to come up with evidences to support his claims.
The court has also sought details from the newspapers that published statements of Raja Riaz.
