Leader of the House in Senate and Secretary General Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Jahangir Badr has said that the PPP-led government will take all measures to hold fair‚ free and impartial elections.
Talking to media here on Thursday‚ he said the members of the Parliament and political parties have also to play their role to ensure transparent elections.
Jahangir Badr said there had been massive ragging in previous elections and even the results were announced by PTV much earlier before the concerned polling stations.
He said people’s party will go into seat adjustment with its allies in the next general elections to reemerge as a winning alliance.
