A local court of Dera Ghazi Khan acquitted four suspects held in Fort Munro rape case on Wednesday.
Additional Session Judge Rana Abdul Rashid announced the decision a day after the affected women refused to identify the five arrested suspects, three being security personnel amongst them.
All the five women told the court that the accused had their faces covered. They said they had given the earlier statement under pressure from the local administration and Border Military Police. Fort Munro is a hill station of south Punjab located in Dera Ghazi Khan district, the site where five women were criminally assaulted by a group of border force and civilian collaborators.
