Students have rejected the results of HSSC part one of the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE), saying that their papers were not checked properly.
Showing dissatisfaction over the paper checking, students said that comparisons of previous records of some students showed that the paper checking was fake and unjust.
“Students who had achieved A grades in Matric got up to 10 marks in some papers, that clearly indicated that their papers were not properly checked this time,” protested a group of students. According to a survey conducted by INP, the majority of protesting students are from F Sc pre-medical group.
HSSC students requested Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and concerned authorities of the board to have their papers rechecked. Meanwhile, many candidates of Matric supplementary examination of the RBISE showed concerns over not getting their roll number slips. A large number of students were seen at the board office, waiting to get their roll number slips only one day before the exams.
“We have to submit Rs 220 in the bank to get duplicate roll number slips,” said a group of candidates.
