The Pakistan Army rescue teams on Sunday recovered two more bodies of soldiers from the Gayari sector of Siachen, bringing the total number of bodies recovered so far to 83. According to a spokesman for the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the two bodies were recovered at 3:45pm. It may be mentioned here that 140 soldiers of the Sixth Northern Light Infantry Battalion, along with some civilians, were buried under a huge avalanche on April 7 in the Gayari sector near Skardu. Since then, the search operation had continued at Gayari, with over 300 men and 50 engineering plants were deployed for the task.
