Alarming rise in criminal activities in Balochistan: IGFC

Inspector General Frontier Corps Major General Ubaidullah Khatak has admitted that terrorism and criminal activities have risen to an alarming level in some areas of Balochistan province.
Addressing a commandant’s conference at the FC headquarters in Quetta, he said that in 2012, 1157 incidents have occurred including killings of 500 people and injuring of 1500.
The IGFC said that all out efforts would be made to maintain peace in the province and apart from their usual duties commandants should cooperate with the provincial government and the administration so that the law and order situation can be improved.
He instructed the commandants that while taking action against the criminals, the law-abiding citizens must be dealt with respect so they feel safe and secure.
He further said that the civil society and other institutions should cooperate with the FC to make Balochistan a peaceful and an exemplary province.

    FC under supervision of GHQ is controlling law and order situation of Baluchistan since or can say before the time of Musharraf but when the blame is officially thrown on their shoulders they are looking for someone else a they are ignorant and innocent all the time for this truth that under FC Baluchistan is becoming more worst.

    • I m sorry to say that ur perception is wrong that FC is responsible for present situation in the province. what do u think about Akbar Bugti and other sardars who have been fleecing millions of rupees from government, oil companies and locals but haven't spent anything for development of the area. What do u say about the MPA who admits on TV show that he attended assembly session for half an hour in last four n half year ( to take oath)?It is long list that can be written here. I feel that one organisation can not be blamed. We all are responsible in our capacity and must try to do something good for our motherland.

  2. There are several areas in Baluchistan where Police and Judicial system does not exist since British time. Why our governments failed to bring reforms in those area which are not different from autonomous tribal areas of KPK? Why are these areas at the mercy of Sardars and Levies? Why cant government finish private jails of sardars?
    Why federal governments choose to send FC to govern Baluchistan? Why Baluchistan assembly do not discuss the law and order situation? See the bigger picture do not get trapped by mere political statements.

    • What you are referring to is the distinction between Cat A and Cat B areas. Musharraf did exactly what you mentioned; brought the entire province under direct control of the government. The present bunch of feudal dacoits in chair undid that arrangement the moment they came into power.

    • The FC in Balochistan Operates under the control of the Provincial Government and not under the Centre or GHQ. What part of this fact is so difficult to understand.

      • What sort of control under Balochistan Govt and having ransum money from every petroleum tanker in coming from and checkpost of gaddani alot for million to army and what about you think from Pervez mushraf and post Bigti incident and friends having rubbish comments I am shock no new the ground situation the levis were performing so well the issue C and B arreas are useless and to get rid of the real situation and divert the mind set of the PK people it is frustating thought but baloch people are not expecting any moral support from guys all like you

      • so poor in your information.It is placed on papers as you said for drawing money from civilian and provincial budget.This IGFC is always called on all core commander conference taken placed on monthly or weekly base and he all along his team presented all reports to GHQ.Rehmanmalik like minister has to beg him for some kind of information to fill the newsletter under his ministry .

        • I was not telling the real income information of its was the only black money earning from irregular/illegal activities now listen if you dont mind the Cant area location the most expensive which is been occupied by FC and Army and they claim because of the balochistan Govt they are extending their reneuewal every montly time 6monthly and if you want to give the pay to FC Why the so Call establishment not increase the Local Police Force is alarming and why the non residential people should care about the Baloch and Hazaras and 10 yrs ago no single incident of hazaras happend and they want to isolate the situation so they can stay longer in every district the most important places has been occupied by them FC.Truth is bitter but we have swallow that and I agree that the credibilty of Rehman malik is big question and unfortunatley the boycott of PONAM parties including BNP Menagal And Mehmood ACh KZAI the vaccum fillled did not done their job properly and they are the part of Corruption like all over the country and we should take measure properly give the chance of true representive of balochistan and change mind set and keep enagage with them and moral support them

          • How long one can hide truth against straight lies.I all time say to army men that this is not era of 1971 where you had to rely on ISPR or PTV.No doubt they are trying to control people's mind with electronic media mess but some other voices are also finding their ways to reach to all who were once kept ignored till check mate was announced.So there is nothing to please in this matter as situation there is quite bleak and terrible for common people or non bolahcis who have been settled there long time ago.

    • Every citizen of Pakistan is truly with the people of Balochistan but not with the sardars. The people of Balochistan are themselves fed up these leeches.

Most of the people say B and C area and Baloch Sardar Jail extra but I argue that their no Jail of Sardar but Security Force are defintely performing with freely so its disgusting to see the innocent person bodies from now where and without any judicial trial its disgusting Long live Balochistan and why the civil society not vocally loud its the question mark !!!

I think we should think about it and people from the other should not tust that sources of information from MAJOR General of FC who Supream court put a serious question their disgusting role and have caught with evidence in several cases and we should come out and speak the truth and boycott that kind of actor who wants to own they are a real stock holder in one day we will free balochistan and the history will tell and one more thing to convey we will built our country in better way inshallah
