Addressing the gathering Zhang Jianxin said that “China and Pakistan play very important and key roles in the region and both countries should work even more closely as friendship between the two countries was higher than the Himalyas, deeper than the oceans, sweeter than honey and stronger than steel. Our close ties and unique relationship is based on mutual respect and close cooperation in all fields.”
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah was chief guest on the occasion and in his address said that “Pakistan China friendship was exemplary and China was a true friend of Pakistan”. He underscored that both countries pursued identical policies on many issues and were closely cooperating in many fields.
Members of Sindh cabinet, Senior Military Officials, Businessmen and people hailing from various segments of the society including Fatima Bhutto were in attendance.
