What’s going on at the Safari?

Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan said that Safari Park was a very important recreation place in the city and therefore this facility would be upgraded and renovated. With the establishment of modern Birds Aviary, Five big animals will be brought in the Safari to get it’s accredited as Safari Park on world level. He expressed these views while inspecting the ongoing development works during a visit of Safari Park along with the Provincial Minister Raza Haroon, KMC Administrator Muhammad Hussain Syed, Metropolitan Commissioner Matanat Ali Khan whereas Sr. Director CSR Muhammad Rehan Khan, Director Safari Park Salman Shamsi and other officers were also present on this occasion. Governor Sindh said the Safari Park had now become quite attractive with the renovation and other works started four months ago. The construction of wall from Madhoo Goth to Safari Park and the inner roads was completed and the newly developed greenery with tree plantation had brought considerable improvement in the park’s environment. He said the pair of Bengal Tiger and Puma would be inducted in Safari in next fifteen days whereas the 80 percent of the construction of Elephant Enclave was completed and with the finishing of remaining work, the elephants would be left their to roam around freely.
The Senior Director CSR in a briefing informed that the construction of Elephant Enclave in the Safari was started on the directive of Governor of Sindh which will be completed next month. This enclave would have a bathing and rest area for elephants and sheds on 2800 square feet area.
