Around six road laborers of the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) went missing on Tuesday, from the Inzar Cheena area of Shakai, in South Waziristan Agency. The Shakai area is inhabited by the Wazir tribe where Taliban Commander Maulvi Nazir holds massive sway. Maulvi Nazir had struck a peace deal with the government, however, military operations were conducted previously against the militants in the area, but there is peace at present.
