PHC orders launching operation against kidnappers to release PESCO employees

The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Tuesday directed the government either release the 20 abducted employees of Wapda or launch operation in the area where the abductees are kept by the insurgents besides issuing notices to chief executive PESCO and political agent Khyber Agency.
The PHC resumed hearing of the 20 kidnapped Wapda employees who went missing from Badhber area of Peshawar wherein the advocate of political administration Khyber Agency informed the court that Wapda employees are being kept in remote area of Tirah valley.
The advocate further said that kidnappers are demanding release of their 20 accomplices, imprisoned in jails, to swap deal for the release of 20 Wapda employees.
PHC Chief Justice Doost Mohammad summoned the chief executive PESCO on the next hearing of the case and also asked the government to launch operation in the area where the abductees are being kept by the insurgents.
