The Child Complaint Office (CCO) in collaboration with UNICEF will launch the latest study “The State of Children in Pakistan” here on September 24 (Monday).
The CCO had been serving as a dedicated mechanism for receiving and resolving complaints from and about children against mal-administration by any federal agency and also helped the government to implement the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
According to official sources, this study was commissioned by the federal and provincial CCOs and supported by the UNICEF, which had finalized valuable recommendations on child rights protection at the federal and provincial levels.
The aim of launch was to share the important study with the relevant child rights stakeholders from the government, civil society and media.
The CCO was established by the Wafaqi Mohtasib in collaboration with the UNICEF.
