Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf will appear before the Supreme Court on Tuesday in a show-cause notice for failing to implement a Supreme Court order to write to Swiss authorities to reopen corruption cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.
A five-judge special bench comprising Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry, Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Muhammad Ather Saeed is hearing the case.
The Bench on 27th August adjourned hearing till 18th September on the request of the Prime Minister that he be given time to find a solution of the case.
Judiciary has sold out. Sad but true.
The judiciary already hv a bad repu all over the world. Do you want them to declare PM disqualified without going thru any formal legal proceedings. Even if they dont want to do justice, they like it to be seen as doing justice and running court proceedings liberally, so that the world hv a feeling like all norms are being followed by the court.
I have read elsewhere that the PPP and its coalition parties would accompany Raja to the court .Safety in numbers-should the PM faint during the proceedings malik would be able to give him a kiss of life ,not to forget the more the merrier !!!!!
Raja saab, kiss your a**s**s** good bye,its time to go.buahahahahahah.How many more PM's is Zardari willing to sacrifice before he decides to come forward and say,I'm innocent,I personally will write the letters lol.Oh come on,I can have wishful thinking right. But I'm not holding my breath though.
