Commerce secretaries of Pakistan and India will meet later this week to chart out the second round of steps to fortify trade and economic ties.
Indian Commerce secretary S R Rao will be flying to Islamabad for the talks scheduled for Sept 20 and 21. Sources did not disclose the agenda for the meeting, which would be the first since last November. Trade ministers from both sides had met in Delhi in April.
With most of the issues on the joint work programme out of the way, the two secretaries are expected to discuss the next set of issues on the agenda.
