Seven injured in different areas

At least seven people were injured with gunshots as the Sindhi nationalist parties observed strike against the promulgation of Peoples Local Government Ordinance, 2012, here on Thursday.
Four workers of the nationalist parties were attacked by unknown persons in Latifabad Unit-4 area.
According to the doctors at Civil Hospital, they have been hit by bullets and pellets.
The injured have been identified as Raja Bhatti, Sunny Bhatti, Zaheer Lashari and Noman Junejo.
In another incident a rickshaw driver, Shahbaz Khan, and a passenger, Dial Sarai who was worker of a nationalist party Awami Tehreek were critically injured.
The doctors at the Civil Hospital said that both have been hit in the neck and head. According to police, the incident happened, on Shahrah-e-Qasimabad.
A trucker identified as Wilayat, was injured on Hyderabad by-pass when unknown persons tried to stop the vehicle but he attempted to run away.
Meanwhile, the leaders and workers of different parties took out rallies, staged sit-in different parts of the district.
A partial strike was observed with Qasimabad and rural taluka remained completely shut while the markets in part of City and Latifabad talukas were also closed.
