After 11 encounters, police arrested a gang of seven absconders and two proclaimed offenders on Monday. In all, the police recovered 49 pistols, one rifle, one hand grenade, two daggers, 20 mobile phones and hundred of thousands of cash from the possession of the accused. An official police statement said that cases have been registered against the arrested.
