Islamabad Police arrested 14 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered weapons, wine and stolen items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Saturday.
According to details, ASI Shaukat Mehmud from Secretariat police nabbed Rajis Masih for possessing 90 cans of beer. ASI Ameer Sajjad from Bhara Kau police apprehended a bootlegger Zeeshan for possessing six wine bottles while ASI Tanveer Ahmed from Golra police arrested Waqar and Jahandad for having four wine bottles. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ali from the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad arrested a thief Khalil and recovered stolen items from him while ASI Tariq Rauf arrested Manzar Abbasss in possession of a 30 bore pistol. ASI Fateh Sher from Koral police arrested a thief Waseem besides recovering stolen items from him while two other nabbed thieves Shehbaz and Ali Raza were being interrogated by him. ASI Muhammad Ameer also recovered a 30 bore pistol from Wali Muhammad. On a tip off, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Aslam from the Women Police arrested four persons including three women for their alleged involvement in immoral activities. The nabbed persons had been identified as Ali, Anweri alias Kalsoom, Farah alias Sonia and Shamim alias Shabana. Meanwhile, Nilore, Bhara Kahu, Sihala and Koral police arrested a total of six proclaimed offenders who were wanted by the police for their involvement in crimes of heinous nature.
