Three lawyers were abducted by unidentified persons from Turner road, Mozang area on Saturday.
Iqbal Khursheed, Riaz Anjum and Muhammad Saeed residents of Shahdara were commuting back to their homes when unidentified persons abducted them. A case has been registered and investigation is underway. However Lahore Bar Association (LBA) members called a partial strike against the abductions causing delays in court proceedings. LBA President Chaudhry Zulfiqar said lawyers would continue their strike and protests would also be organized if the abducted are not recovered immediately. Police has claimed that raids were being carried out for their recovery.
