ECP ready for transparent elections: Secretary

Secretary Election Commission of Pakistan Ishtiaq Ahmed Khan has said that the ECP was ready for holding free and fair general and local bodies election.
He said that help of army, FC and Rangers might be sought for election. Speaking to media on Friday he said that preparations for elections had been completed by the commission. He said that general election would be held within 60 days if they were held after March 17 next year and the polls would be held within 90 days if they were held before the 17th March
Khan said that 5 election tribunals would be formed in Punjab while three each in rest of the provinces.
He asked the Sindh government to complete its work on new constituencies before the polls.
