JAHANIAN – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Makhdoom Javed Hashmi Saturday said the system patronised by the United States was breathing its last around the world, adding that American hegemony would soon end and a new revolution had erupted in the third world.
Hashmi was talking to the party workers at the residence of Hakim Abdul Majid Sulemani.
“Our leadership is giving time only to promote the business abroad. Those claiming to love Pakistan if devote their time to serve the nation the problems being faced by the common man would be resolved within minutes,” he remarked. He rued the fact that no one utilised the country’s resources for the betterment of people, adding that Pakistan lacked messiahs and not the resources.
The wave of awakening currently gripping Tunisia, Egypt, Sudan, Nigeria and other third world countries would soon affect Pakistan as the leadership was not reforming itself, he opined. The third world was witnessing changes, Hashmi said, adding, “We are already slaves of the US and feudal class. Those who had established businesses abroad have become the masters of our destinies. No one can block the revolution if the rulers do not change themselves.”
Hashmi predicted that the matters were getting out of the leaders’ control.
