FBI agents have arrived in Pakistan and will work with Pakistani counterparts to inspect the blast site and vehicles damaged in the explosion, according to media reports.
The FBI team will work alongside Pakistani investigators as they are searching for clues to who was behind Monday’s blast in the northwestern city of Peshawar, in which an attacker rammed his explosives-laden car into US consulate vehicle.
Two American and two Pakistani consulate employees were wounded in the bombing, the deadliest attack targeting Americans in the country in more than two years.
“An FBI team is leading the investigation of the Peshawar blast on behalf of the US government. We are closely coordinating with the Pakistan government,” US State Department spokesman Patrick Ventrell told reporters in Washington on Tuesday.

  1. Hi malik what about your team of investigators? they have been put on one side-what a waste of time and energy you making that announcement-clearly shows the americans have no faith in your investigations.Just shows your amateur law enforcement agencies cannot be relied upon. You have not been able to protect your citizens internally and this has been noted by all concerned
