Difah-e-Pakistan Council Chairman and JUI-S Ameer Samiul Haq has said that the proposed operation in North Waziristan is a conspiracy against the country and urged the government and army to resolve internal issues through a process of dialogue.
He passed these remarks during a meeting with JUI-S Central Secretary General Maulana Abdul Rauf Farooq and other party leaders on Sunday. He said that continuing drone attacks by the United States in Waziristan are a proof of government’s consent and its lack of concern for the lives of the Pakistani people.
He added that a meeting of general council of DPC has been summoned on September 10 in Rawalpindi while an all party meeting of all the religious parties will be held in the city the following day.
