Haq Parast Member Provincial Assembly Nishat Muhammed Zia Qadri has called for removing all encroachments along water courses and nullas for efficient working of sewerage system so that the rain water could not cause inconvenience to the public.
He directed to clear all the encroachments in and around Malir River, Chakora Nulla, Golden Town Nulla, and all other seasonal water courses in Shah Faisal colony area without delay.
He also instructed the local bodies and Water and Sewerage Board to mend the flow of rain streams and sewerage lines in the area.
The MPA also visited the Shah Faisal colony area along with the concerned officials and reviewed the emergency plan for monsoon rains. He also appealed to the people not to throw and dump garbage in rain water courses and drains and clear encroachments along them informing the concerned officials disregard of these instructions to check such illegal actions.
