Traders and business community of Karachi city has rejected the government decision of increase in petroleum prices and given two-day deadline to take back the decision.
Talking to media persons on Saturday, Chairman Karachi Traders Association Action Committee (KTAAC), Sadeeq Memon termed the hike in POL prices as unjustified as masses were already much higher prices and the issue has also resulted in inflation.
He warned the government to take back decision in 48 hours otherwise traders of Karachi would observer a shutter down strike on September 04.
Meanwhile, citizens have also expressed grave concerns over increase in prices of petroleum and said that it would intensify their sufferings and result in price hike of all edible and non edible products.
