Five POs among 12 outlaws nabbed

Islamabad police have nabbed 12 outlaws, including five proclaimed offenders (POs) involved in crime of heinous nature in their special crackdown, a police spokesman said.
On a tip off, Sub Inspector Shams Akbar and ASI Ishfaq from CIA police arrested Ibrhaim, Thair Shah and Umer Farooq and recovered two kalashnikovs, one 12-bore gun and 20 cartridges from their procession.
ASI Muhammad Tariq from Sihala police station arrested Mursleen and recovered one 30-bore pistol from him. Sub Inspector Abdul Ghafoor from Secretariat police station arrested Tahir Shah and recovered 120 grams of hashish from him.
Assistant Sub Inspector Zulfaqir Ali from Shehzad Town police arrested two accused, Daulat Khan and Ibrar, and recovered stolen property from their possession. In compliance of directions from SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq regarding a crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders, Islamabad police nabbed five proclaimed offenders for their involvement in crimes of heinous nature.
