At least 18 militants were killed during the ongoing military offensive in Bajaur Agency, security sources said on Thursday. They said two Taliban commanders were also among those killed in Thursday’s military action in a remote area of the agency. The two were identified as Tehreek-e-Taliban Swat’s commanders Khatir and Turabi. According to reports, army troops pounded militant hideouts in the Tribal Area. The Pakistan Army has been conducting an operation in Bajaur, South Waziristan, Orakzai and parts of the Khyber Agency against insurgent groups loyal to Taliban and al Qaeda.
