Families evacuate after flooding in Budni nullah

A large number of people were forced to evacuate after the Budni nullah in Peshawar flooded on Tuesday. According to details, monsoon rains have lowered the temperature and humidity in upper parts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but also wreaked havoc in several parts of the country.
Due to overflowing in Budni Nullah, hundreds of homes were affected, forcing families to shift to safer places. The streets and roads of Sardar Colony, Qazi Karano, Qasab Khana, Nishat Mills, Hassan Garhi, Basheerabad, Maqsoodabad, Faqeer Qalay and Abdullahabad were inundated due to the flooding. Many of the residents took refuge on their rooftops while others remained stranded on roads.
