The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has finalized a list comprising names of eight to nine persons as potential candidate for the slot of caretaker Prime Minister.
According to a private TV channel, these nominated persons include politicians, retired judges and lawyers; however, it is important to note that the list does not contain a single person that belongs to Punjab.
According to the channel, the party will take into confidence Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and other nationalist parties on these names.
The N-League will call a meeting in near future to finalize a name for the caretaker premiership.
