The Pakistan Olympics Association on Sunday announced that the 32ND National Games will be held at Lahore and will be oganised by the Punjab Olympic Association o October 16 to 22.
A meeting of POA Sports Commission and representatives of the participating units of the National Games was held at the Olympic House under the chairmanship of Syed Aqil Shah, Chairman of the Commission. The Punjab Olympic Association will hold two separate meetings In September to finalise, review the final arrangements and technical details and modalities.
The athletes from Punjab, KPK, Sindh, Balochistan as well as Islamabad Olympic and FATA, Services/Departmental Organizations of the Army, Navy, Air Force, WAPDA, Railways, Police and HEC will compete in 27 disciplines that also include 15 female events. The disciplines are Athletics, Baseball, Bodybuilding, Boxing, Football, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Ju-Jitsu, Kabaddi, Karate, Netball, Shooting, Rowing, Rugby, Sailing, Softball, Squash, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tennis, Tug of War, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Wrestling and Wushu.
