The prevailing pleasant weather in the twin cities is attracting picnickers and fun lovers to popular recreational spots of the federal capital.
The intermittent rains started on Eid day and compelled the people to come out and enjoy the beauty of nature at Margalla Hills, Rawal Dam, Lakeview Park, Chatter Park and other recreational spots.
This year the Eid holidays were immediately followed by a weekend which extended the celebration time for families and youngsters who rushed to popular picnic spots of the twin cities.
Friends and families joined hands in the celebrations and enjoyed barbeque parties after the trend caught with the people a few years ago.
The pleasant change in the weather prompted the citizens to come out of their homes and a great rush was also witnessed at the National Monument, Daman-e-Koh, Fatima Jinnah Park and Shakarparian.
