Fear gripped the surroundings of the heavily guarded Foreign Office building in Islamabad after a gas cylinder exploded in a nearby cabin with a loud blast on Wednesday.
According to police sources, no casualties were caused by the explosion as the cylinder was small and had low gas pressure. However, the blast entirely blew away the cabin’s rooftop.
Teams of police and bomb disposal squad reached the spot and started investigating the site of the blast.
