Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) Central Information Secretary Senator Kamil Ali Agha on Sunday blasted Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for never missing a photo opportunity while ignoring the deteriorating conditions of government schools in the province.
In a statement, he said that the chief minister had utilized all the allocated funds for his Daanish Schools projects, causing thousands of government school to shut down.
Agha said that top position holder in the Punjab University Muhammad Mohsin, who hails from a suburb village of Hafizabad, had studied at these very government schools and had proved the Daanish Schools policy to be a big failure. He claimed that the chief minister is now posing for photographs with the student and hiding behind his success to hide his own failures and humiliation.
Furthermore, he said that the young student was among thousands of others who had benefited from the Pardha Likha Punjab program, which the chief minister abandoned when he had taken the office.
Agha added that after studying in government primary, middle and high schools, Mohammad Mohsin and other girls and boys securing top positions in the boards and universities had proved that the Daanish Schools policy was just a waste of resources.
