The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Thursday rejected a report submitted by the political administration regarding drone strikes, declaring them incomplete, and directed North Waziristan Agency (NWA) Additional Political Agent to submit a complete report in court.
A PHC bench headed by Chief Justice Dost Mohammad Khan (CJ) resumed the hearing of US drone attacks where Additional Political Agent NWA Zahiruddin submitted a report on the US drone attacks that were conducted till 2008.
The PHC chief justice rejected the report on grounds that the report was incomplete as names and ages of those killed in drone attacks were not mentioned and an estimate of the damage incurred was not given in the report.
The CJ directed the Additional Political Agent to submit a complete report on US drone attacks and mention estimates of damages incurred and names and ages of those killed in the attacks till 2008.
The hearing of the case was adjourned till August 19.

  1. I hope this time Judiciary does the justice against drone attacks, which seems like totally against sovereignty of Pakistan. This case should be conducted by Supreme Court Of Pakistan.
