Records of Labour Ministry stolen

ISLAMABAD – An unspecified number of official files have been stolen from the Ministry of Labour and Manpower, a police official said. He stated that a ministry employee Mukhtiar Ahmad reported on Wednesday that a massive quantity of official record, bearing accounts worth millions of rupees, had been stolen by some ‘unknown persons’.
The Secretariat police, after recording statements of a number of ministry officials, have registered a case under section 380. A team, headed by ASI Ashfaq of the Secretariat Police Station, is investigating the case.
