Pakistan Army joined the nation in the celebrations of 65th Independence Day of Pakistan with traditional zeal and fervour. An ISPR press release issued here on Sunday said the day dawned with special prayers for prosperity of Pakistan. A 21-gun salute was also presented in the provincial metropolis. Special flag hoisting ceremonies were carried out at various headquarters and units. The message of chief of the army staff was read on this occasion. Representatives of three services laid a wreath at the Mazar of Quaid-e-Azam and offered Dua.
