Members of the Hindu community have complained that they are being forced to migrate from Pakistan. A three-member committee set up by President Asif Ali Zardari to allay the grievances of Hindus in Jacobabad met with the representatives of the minority community on Sunday. The committee included Senator Hari Ram, MNA Lal Chand and federal minister Moula Baksh Chandio. The committee will present a report to the president and Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah on the grievances of the Hindus. Chandio said the grievances of the Hindu community were justified. Meanwhile in Badin, hundreds of Hindus took out a rally against the recent “migration” of Hindus to India, saying it was a “pre-conceived conspiracy”. The rally, led by former councilor Kachromal, moved through various roads of the city and terminated at press club, where protestors staged a sit in. As a result of their long demonstration, traffic was suspended on the road. Another protest rally was held in Golarchi against the kidnapping of two Hindu girls namely Pooja Gujrati and Heemi Lohar. The protestors included men, women and children who marched from Gujrati mohallah to the press club. On the occasion, the protestors accused that the Golarchi Police was threatening them, instead of recovering the kidnapped girls. They demanded the government to provide them protection and ensure early recovery of their girls.

  1. It is the robber baron waderas of Sind or patheradars and their nexus with corrupt police and DMG officers who are involved in this racket of kidnapping for ransom, forcible occupation of lands and sexual abuse of women in interior Sind, while Karachi is haunted by thugs, target killers and extortionists of MQM, who for years are involved in this lucrative trade. Now other gangs some belonging to fanatic religious outfits and even few patronized by ruling PPP, ANP and PML(F) have joined in for their share of this tax free bonanza.

  2. Leaving one's birth place is not easy. There must be some compelling reasons and truth that forced them to migrate. Shame on the ruling elites of PPP. When a Thug is the president what can you expect. He is legalizing the theft through legislation. The members who are voting to legalize the theft are equally corrupt. Where is the decency and integrity of these dishonest people. The oppression of Hindus is a black spot on the so called Muslims who clamor Islamic Tolerance. It is a shame that minorities in Pakistan had to suffer so much. What a paradox that pay lip service on the atrocities meted out to the Burmese Muslims. Pakistani Hindus need protection and must be treated fairly. I hope Leaders get out of their cocoons and quit hypocritical rhetoric and punish the miscreants. This is terrible.

  3. Now Zardari and Sherry Rehman look like idiots buahahahahahah, now they are caught lying……AGAIN.The bottom line is,the government does'nt do a darn thing about not only the minorities but also for the majority.I take that back, they do do alot for a minority, their own PPP workers,MNAs,ministers and any other VVIP or VIP that belongs to PPP.Zardari, you have'nt given 2 s.!ts for 4 and a half years, why start now.
