Capital Development Authority Chairman Farkhand Iqbal has said the CDA would plant 500,000 saplings during a plantation drive to make Islamabad lush green and provide a healthy environment to the residents of the capital. He was speaking to reporters after planting a sapling in Media Town in connection with the ongoing monsoon tree-plantation campaign. The CDA chairman said that the civic body would provide technical support for the development of Media Town. He said the CDA was planting 500,000 different saplings which will be planted in different areas of Islamabad.
