Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Dr Farooq Sattar said on Saturday, that it was important to understand the philosophy and ideology of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah regarding the rights of minorities. He expressed these views at a ceremony arranged on the International Day for Minorities at Alhamra Hall.
He said that the minorities had a right to vote and all political parties should issue party tickets to minorities in the upcoming elections.
