Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations Abdullah Hussain Haroon has voiced condemnation over the incident of killing of worshippers at a Sikh shrine at Wisconsin.
Talking to Ambassador Hardeep Singh Puri, Indian Permanent Representative over the telephone, Ambassador Haroon said that he was deeply shocked and saddened to learn of the shooting incident that has resulted in the loss of precious lives of six innocent devotees and offered sincere sympathies for those who were killed in this unfortunate incident.
This senseless act of violence targeted at a place of religious worship is highly painful, the Ambassador said and expressed hope that all possible measures would be taken to ensure that such ghastly events do not take place in future.
