Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Friday put forward 11 questions for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif, challenging him to answer the questions live on TV. Addressing Nawaz, Imran challenged the PML-N chief to “come in front of the public and answer my questions like I am answering now”. In response to Opposition Leader Nisar Ali Khan’s allegations that Imran had not paid any taxes, Imran put forward tax returns for the year 1981-82, saying he paid tax worth Rs 36,000 that year.
“Yousuf Islam is my tax agent and all information about my taxes is available with him. Anyone can contact him for details,” Imran said. The PTI chief said he bought land worth £40 million after selling his London flat in 2003 for around £70 million. “All my assets have been declared and they will also go up on my website. All of my properties are in my name, they are not in anyone else’s name.”He said he earned the remaining money during the World Cup in India. “In every World Cup, they invite me for commentary and match analysis and they pay me for it. I am presenting to you the contract of the game plan. The registered company will tell you how much I earned through it.”

Raymond Baker, an international renowned author, wrote in his book that Nawaz Sharif did corruption worth $417 million. The book says that Nawaz Sharif took a commission of $160 million from Daewoo for the motorway which was recently made. If Baker had made a false allegation, then why did you not initiate a case against him?

We are with you Imran Khan ,PML N is history .Down goes Nawaz Sharif
Imran must first absolve himself of the charges made by PML-N. By not addressing the charges he is strengthening the credibility of the accusations. Attacking PML-N with counter charges is not going to get him off the hook. However, the allegations made by PML-N must be examined for their veracity. Without either supporting or denying the allegations, this is what I found upon visiting the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital website:
1. The financial report for 2011 is not posted on the website. Financial reports for 2003 to 2010 are available there.
2. The financial report for 2010 mentions (on pages 46-47)investment in a real estate development project in Oman. The investment were handled by Sugarland Real Estate (BVI). The land value declined by USD 18,256 million.
3. There have been 'considerable' increases in 2010 over 2009. The increases in the following four heads are as follows: (a) Salaries and Benefits, 25%; (b) Food, Laundry &other supplies, 32%; (c) Travel and entertainment, 36%; (d) Vehicle running, 39%; (e) Promotional and development, 80%.
I urge readers to visit the Shaukat Khanum website, study the financial reports and annual reports and develop an understanding of how the Trust is managed.
Is politics all about defaming and antagonizing your opponent … I used to believe Imran Khan was different in this regard but he too stooped to the very level of his political rivals … A man of character and courage should explain himself of allegations if they are false and admit to his mistakes if they are true … Maybe i live in too much of an ideal world but thats what I have read of great leaders of history and thats what I personally believe in.
Imran Khan should know that the greatest contribution to the Shaukat Khanum Hospital was made by Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif by allotting a plot for the Hospital. This contribution is greater than Imran's own contribution. Second, Imran Khan is making a political price out of this welfare trust and diverting the trust Zakat and Khairat money for organizing Tehreek-e-Insaf's rallies. There are a number of Hospitals in Lahore made by welfare trusts from British time and later including Gurki Hospital but they never used hospitals for politics. Imran Khan is using welfare hospital for politics. It is shameful. Dr Ahmad Rashid Malik – Islamabad.
Don't go that far Imran Khan.. If the opposition keep fighting like that.. Then be sure that we have bear zardari & co for the next five year also.
I wish Imran Khan gets a chance in the next election. May be he can bring some changes.. Give him one chance atleast…
allegations vs allegations. it proves IK is guilty…and what about money laundering
Imran Khan and his rowdy supporters are a bunch of corrupt and womanising people.
Imran Khan is a typical low life. He should be thankful to Sharifs for the SK hospital land.
And sharif gave that land from his Abaji property? BS
It was government land. Down with choors and their supporters. lanti kirdars
Imran yoy have been goaded to react and you have fallen into the trap. If you are clean state your point and don't hurl back bouncers. There are going to be a lot of attacks on your personality. Stick to yur political agenda and keep hammering at it.
All these attacks simply show that your opponents are panicking. Don't throw them a lifeline.
I cant believe people are still leaving comments to support Nawaz Sharif or Zardari, these guys are scums of Pakistan the lowest ranking particles in the human chain. Pakistan is near its tipping point and its going to happen with idiots running our country, bring in an educated individual who will actually do something good for the people, drone attacks, no water, no electricity, no infrastructure and if you thought that wasn't enough we have corrupted leaders who take money whenever they can…as an outside person looking into the situation in Pakistan i feel sorry for the people who are suffering… Go PTI Go Imran Khan
Nawaz Supporters are mentally idiots. They don't have any material against Imran and they use cheap tactics to slander him.
