President Asif Ali Zardari paid a short visit to his hometown on Saturday. On this occasion, strict security arrangements were made in and around Zardari House and in the city. The president was received at the Nawabshah Airport by senior officials and party leaders.
The president went straight to the family graveyard where he offered Fateha at the graves of his father Hakim Ali Zardari and Mother Bilqees Khanum.
Later at Zardari House, the president met a number of delegations and sought details about development schemes in Nawabshah and Shaheed Benazirabad District. Later he left for Sukkur.
Meanwhile Asif Ali Zardari also visited the graves of martyrs in Ghari Khuda Buksh in Naudero. The president visited the graves of former prime ministers Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto at Garhi Khuda Buksh.
He laid floral wreaths at the graves of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto and graves of other martyrs and offered Fateha for the departed souls.
The president also visited the graves of Mir Shah Nawaz Bhutto and Mir Murtaza Bhutto.
