All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Central Information Secretary Aasia Ishaq has said that unscheduled and prolonged load shedding has made the life of the masses miserable. According to an APML central information secretariat press release issued here on Wednesday, Aasia Ishaq said despite repeated claims of government, load shedding even during the holy month of Ramadan and especially during the ‘Sehr and Aftar’ is like inviting people’s wrath.
She said industries have been closed down due to power crisis bringing the flood of unemployment and economic decay of the poor. “It has become almost impossible for a common man to earn his livelihood while the rulers are practicing a shameful policy of plundering wealth,” she added. The continuous rise in the power tariff is like plundering the consumers in the name of fuel adjustment, she added. Aasia Ishaq said that the country’s economic condition is worsening day by day while government is trying to complete its tenure instead of taking steps to ameliorate the financial condition.
